New York Fashion Week - Fall 2014

I've never been lucky enough to go to any of the fashion week shows but twice a year I live vicariously through the various blogs and recaps of all of the excitement in New York.

This fall, I'm looking forward to quite a few shows:

Trina Turk - September 5th

Lacoste - September 6th

Carolina Herrera - September 8th

Tommy Hilfiger - September 8th

Donna Karan New York - September 8th

Tory Burch - September 9th

J. Crew - September 9th

Jenny Packham - September 9th

Ralph Lauren - September 11th

You can check out their bios and pictures of some of their past fashion week shows on the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week website along with all the latest news.

Labor Day Weekend Part 2: Balboa Island

One of my favorite places to spend a lazy weekend afternoon is Balboa Island.  There is a great main street and the island is just the right size to make for a nice walk around the perimeter.

And did I mention the houses?!? They are incredible!

Such a nice house. . . ruined with one flag. . . . Go Bears!!

The sea lions have taken over

Labor Day Weekend Part 1: The Huntington Library

With an extra day for Labor Day weekend, two of my friends and I went to The Huntington Library for tea and a walk around the estate.  The day was gorgeous and while it was bit hot, we had an amazing time.

A New Beginning

I'm a little late with New's Year's Greetings but better late that never.  It feels like everyone is back in full swing and ready to take on 2014.  So let's get to it.

Happy New Year!

A New Beginning

Wow, it has been a while.  And it has been quite the summer.

But now I am finally starting to feel settled in my new life in L.A.
I have moved into my new apartment {more on that later}
and have reconnected with many old friends.

While I miss many aspects of my old life on the East Coast
I really am happy here.

A new beginning with unlimited possibilities
